Discovery

When I started at PACE my first mission was to understand the daily work routine of an Agent. I got to take the agent class "E&V - Ready to Sell" and studied all relevant rules for real estate brokerage, I shadowed agents during their daily work and conducted user interview.

First Usability Testing

The mobile app was already been started to build in a beta version and I was the first one to show it to real agents in Barcelona and present these moments to the whole team with my recordings of how agents used the app for the first time!

The team really appreciated to be so close to the user and were highly motivated to relief the users pains!


We clustered all findings in our core team (bugs, user pain, already a benefit and general insights) ordered them for the desired topics (client, property, matching,... ), analyzed patterns and decided on our next steps! (low hanging fruits, tasks we already understood, topics that needs more discovery, issues we wont't do.)

Diary Study

To even better understand the agents daily business we asked them to write a diary for 2 weeks about their tasks. Additionally they could share any struggles or ideas for improvements with us.

Client duplicate check

We discovery the need of a mobile duplicate check for clients to quickly check if agents are allowed to take over a search client or need to align with their team leads.

We offered a quick view of all necessary informations to decide if a client could be taken over.

We understood that the order of the content needs to match the use case of a viewing, with simple paper prototypes we aligned with agents on the prioritization of the content and optimized features such as automated calculation of price per m2.
